1. Agreement

By installing or using Statsdle (“the Service”), including the optional Discord bot and the optional Slack bot, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension and do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility (COPPA / age)

You must be at least 13 years old to use Statsdle. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Statsdle with permission of a parent or guardian as required by local law. We do not knowingly provide the Service to children under 13.

3. What Statsdle is

Statsdle is a personal stats helper for daily browser games you already play. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the New York Times (Wordle, Connections, Strands), LinkedIn, Krillion, MapTap, Daily Orbs, or any other third-party publisher. All third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Statsdle is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the games it tracks. All game names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. License to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Statsdle Chrome extension for your own non-commercial use. The software is proprietary (see LICENSE in the repository). You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer (except where prohibited by law), or use Statsdle to build a competing service from our source without written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Statsdle to harass, cheat against others in ways that violate third-party rules, or scrape others’ private data
  • Attempt to bypass security or overload any Statsdle or third-party system
  • Misrepresent Statsdle as an official product of any game publisher
  • Use Statsdle if you are under 13

6. Third-party games & risk

Statsdle may read finished-game state or share text on third-party sites only on pages you visit, via declared host permissions. Third-party terms of service may restrict automated reading of their pages. Where capture is unreliable or risky, prefer pasting the game’s official share/copy text into Statsdle. You are responsible for complying with each game’s terms. We may change or remove a game module if a publisher objects or technical access breaks.

7. No warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that capture will always succeed or that stats are error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HARRISON HUNNICUTT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR STREAKS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF STATSDLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED US $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (IF ANY), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Accounts

An account is optional. You can use the extension without one. If you create an account, you must provide a working email address, keep your password to yourself, and you are responsible for activity under the account.

Email and password are handled by Supabase. Email codes are delivered by Resend. Google sign-in is off unless it is turned on; when it is on, you may sign in with Google. Finished results from a normal window, share text, notes, your profile, friends, and reactions are stored with the account as described in the Privacy Policy. Results in a private window are not uploaded.

You can delete the hosted account in Settings on the website: open Setup, type your username, and choose Delete account. A copy can remain on a device until you clear local results or remove the extension.

10. Discord

The StatsdleBot Discord bot is optional. The Discord app name and bot username are StatsdleBot. The slash command stays /statsdle. These Discord bot terms were updated on October 12, 2026. If you use the bot, Discord's Terms of Service, and Discord’s other terms that apply to you, also apply.

Acceptable use of the bot: do not use it to harass anyone, to publish another person’s private scores, to spam a server, or to overload Statsdle or Discord. Do not present the bot as an official product of Discord or of a game publisher.

Connecting Discord is optional. If you choose Connect Discord, Statsdle receives the Discord user id, username, and display name and stores that link on your account in discord_links. If you pass private on a command, that on or off choice is saved on the link and becomes the default until you change it. The bot can then show scores to people who are your Statsdle friends, and a linked account can log a score with /statsdle log or /statsdle paste. You can disconnect in Settings. Disconnecting removes the link. It does not delete your game results.

The bot has no warranty. It is provided “as is”, as in section 7. We may change or remove the bot, or any of its commands, at any time.

11. Slack

The StatsdleBot Slack bot is optional. The display name is StatsdleBot. The slash command is /statsdle. If you use it, Slack's Terms of Service, and Slack’s other terms that apply to you, also apply.

Acceptable use of the Slack bot is the same: do not use it to harass anyone, to publish another person’s private scores, to spam a channel, or to overload Statsdle or Slack. Do not present the bot as an official product of Slack or of a game publisher.

Connecting Slack is optional. If you open the /statsdle link URL while signed in, Statsdle stores the Slack workspace id, user id, username, and display name on your account in slack_links. /statsdle private true or false saves your own default on the link until you change it. A trailing private or public on another command changes only that reply. /statsdle nickname stores an optional nickname, and replies show that nickname when it is set. The bot can then show scores to people who are your Statsdle friends, and a linked account can log a score with /statsdle log or /statsdle paste. You can disconnect in Settings. Disconnecting removes the link. It does not delete your game results. Installing StatsdleBot in a Slack workspace stores that workspace’s bot token in slack_installations. Only the server can read it.

The Slack bot has no warranty. It is provided “as is”, as in section 7. We may change or remove the bot, or any of its commands, at any time.

12. Termination

You may stop using Statsdle at any time by uninstalling it and, if you have an account, by deleting that account in Settings. We may suspend or discontinue the Service or particular game modules at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise.

14. Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, the last updated date at the top will change. If you keep using Statsdle after a change, you accept the updated terms.
